Orginal Robot

Modified Robot-Trezo

My robot's name is called Trezo,it's basically a fighting machine to protect me or anyone that i decide.It has high advanced security system,able to differentiate people from it's memory system.It follows me wherever i goes,does things for me,able to listen to my commands.I also built another robot called MINT to help me does things whenever trezo cant do it.Mint is basically a mini helper when i come upon to places that require this small robot to do the job.

Reflection

This is the first time i'm using MAYA to do 3d,basically i like it very much however there is much things to learn.When doing the robot i find problems catching the angle when it wanted it straight or slanted,so i have to watch out for other faces at the same time to make sure it is at the angle that i wanted.Overall i find it fun and challenging

EX3-Discuss the following points:

• Prisons are meant to be scary, powerful looking places, while Toontown is meant for fun and childlike enjoyment – how is this reflected in the lines and angles of the buildings?

• How does the sense of scale reflect the different purposes of the prisons and Toontown?

For Prison,simple shapes like squares,triangles and rectangles are used.Prisons are suppose to be a quiet place for prisoners so the shapes and colours are very simple.However,the sharp features of the shapes makes the whole place looks very scary and serious.The scale of the prison are also widely built for prisoners to live and to emphasize on the seriousness of the place.

As for the toontowns,funky and unusual shapes are used so that the place doesn't look scary but yet fun and safe to the visitors.The designs are not very formal as cartoons comes in different styles and colours.Lastly the scale of the toontown are closely packed for kids who loves cartoons to enjoy and have fun.
